When you donate to Homeward Trust, you are making a commitment to your community. Your donation ensures a better future for those experiencing homelessness and at-risk individuals in Edmonton.
You can donate in a number of ways:
One of the best ways to help a community member in need is through a financial donation. Your generous contribution will make a difference in the lives of those experiencing homeless or at-risk individuals.
Please note: While we appreciate your donation, Homeward Trust does not offer charitable receipts at this time.
Homeless Connect Edmonton is held twice a year (spring and fall) at the Shaw Conference Centre. The event connects people who are experiencing homelessness and people who are at risk of becoming homeless with essential services such as dentistry, hair cutting, foot care, and employment training.
Donated clean and gently used/new clothing is distributed to Homeless Connect guests. Collection of these clothes begins a month before each Homeless Connect through community agenices and organizations.
Alternatively, you can coordinate a donation drive in your community. Donation drives are a great way to bring community members together and collect large amounts of clothing for Homeless Connect guests at one time.

Find is an initiative of Homeward Trust Edmonton. It is a social enterprise that offers quality, low-cost, previously used furniture for sale to the public. Furniture is also provided free of charge to participants in Edmonton’s Housing First support program. Proceeds from retail sales support programs for people transitioning out of homelessness and into permanent housing, helping them build better futures.
Find accepts donations of gently used, quality home furnishings. The greatest need is for good condition sofas, couches, and chairs, along with dressers and tables (coffee/end/kitchen).
Find cannot accept damaged goods, such as those that are broken, stained, or torn. They also do not accept beds or mattresses. Not only will they not be used, these will slow down the processing and delivery of good condition donations.
Donations can be dropped off at Find’s retail location, 5120 – 122 Street in Edmonton, between 9 AM and 5 PM, Monday – Saturday.
